The P-Bandai HGUC 1/144 Ground Type Gundam [Parachute Pack Ver.] is getting a reissue in February 2027 as part of the 30th anniversary celebration of Mobile Suit Gundam: The 08th MS Team.
The kit features the Ground Type Gundam equipped with the parachute pack seen during the anime's opening sequence. The parachute pack is reproduced with newly molded parts, including a separately molded lid on the block at the top center. This allows the kit to recreate the Ground Type Gundam during its high-altitude descent.

A newly molded GM head is also included. By swapping the standard Gundam head with the GM head, builders can recreate the Ground Type GM configuration seen in the series.
The kit also includes the large backpack weapon container along with an extensive selection of weapons. The included armament consists of a 100mm machine gun, beam saber, shield, 180mm cannon, missile launcher, rocket launcher and net gun.
The Ground Type Gundam features a wide range of articulation and various gimmicks, allowing for dynamic poses with its weapons and parachute equipment.

ReplyDeleteSo yeah, probably gonna get this one against my better judgement. This, plus a ground war set which includes a hovertruck, and maybe a little wait to see if the Ez8 gets a revive kit and I'll finally be able to do the 8th team...
