Bandai has revealed a new logo for SD Gundam series which is called SD Gundam Cross Silhouette.

Bandai hobby site's official twitter didn't say much about the new logo but we are looking forward to see more info about this anytime soon.

What do you think it would be?

  1. An SD version of Silhouette Formula 91 and Crossbone Gundam?

  2. What happened to the SD EX Standard and BB Senshi line up? Is Bandai giving up on those line? Is this a replacement SD line up?

    1. I believe BB senshi is still coming, and it should be, its a regular sd line, don't know about ex standard though,

    2. The SD EX Standard line NEEDED to die IMHO. With the exception of the Deathcythe Hell EW and Barbatos/Barbatos Lupus they consisted entirely of existing BB Senshi kits- kits that were for the most part vastly superior to the EX Standard line. (And for the Barbatos was a shameless repackaging which was vastly under par compared to its BB counterparts)

Sure they were cheap, but the amount of stickers they came with to make them "color accurate" was obscene- and their toted weapon gimmicks were clearly an afterthought.

Like I said before, why waste your money on these cheap, poorly made kits when you had the BB releases that were vastly superior for just a few hundred extra yen?

Maybe if they had branched out more like the DSHC and gave it more variety instead of inferior rehashes...

    3. ex standard is probably dead bcos it wasnt good enough but bb senshi will probably continue to bring sd with unique armor or the sengokuden series

    4. i have a feeling that this could be the sd series for customizing with the new build divers and other high grade series

    5. If this is a 'new' line of SD kits for the Build Diver series to be used with the HG Build Diver kits, it will be disappointing. Why does Bandai make these very hastily made decisions? It often doesn't end up being that good; kind of like the SD EX Standard kits. I think Bandai just tried to rush release the SD EX Standard series and the very cheap quality, low price, and stupid gimmicks kind of suggests that I think. I guess we will have to wait to see what atrocity Bandai thinks will be a good idea to make with this Cross Silhouette series. Now that I think about it, even the name sounds like a gimmick.

  3. Just hope bandai don't abandon bb legend lineup. Still waiting for cao cao destiny and sun quan astray.

  4. Seeing the name "cross silhouette", could be about kit bashing ability.
If it's a game, it could be gundam breaker sd version,
If it's a new line kit, it might be some kind of mobile suit ensemble kit version.
    Just a wild guess

    1. It's definitely a model kit line since bandai hobby posted about it on their site, and it seems like it could be more so like the star winning Gundam

    2. Given that "CS" often stands for "consumer software" in Japan (in other words, console games), I'm leaning towards Cross Silhouette teasing an SD Gundam video game on consoles. Probably a wilder guess than yours, though...

    3. New picture has ben updated on bandai site, it seems sd kit with inner frame and apparently can be change from nxedge-like style to bb g generation which has no legs, i don't there are only silhouette picture though

  5. The name cross silhouette sounds like it may be a dedicated line composed of models that transform between SD and real modes like a lot of old bb sensei kits. Just a shot in the dark, but it'd be an interesting premise
