Premium Bandai has officially unveiled the Gundam Heavyarms Custom EW as the latest addition to the Master Grade (MG) GunPla series!
This model builds on the original MG 1/100 Gundam Heavyarms EW, featuring the same base molds with the addition of newly designed parts for its dual machineguns. The kit also includes a distinctive clown mask faceplate, faithfully replicating the look seen in the OVA.
For extra detailing, the kit provides water slide decals, enhancing its intricate design.
Upgraded for space combat, the Heavyarms Custom sports a dark blue-green color scheme, two additional chest-mounted gatling guns, and a powerful pair of double gatling guns as its primary weapons. In Glory of the Losers, additional thrusters were incorporated into the central backpack and rear skirt armor, boosting maneuverability for battles beyond Earth’s atmosphere.
In A.C. 195, Trowa Barton piloted the Gundam Heavyarms Custom in the Eve Wars alongside the other Gundam pilots against White Fang. The next year, he deployed it in battles against Perfect Peace People forces, including a clash on the Moon and an attack on the Vulkanus mobile doll factory.Â
By December A.C. 196, Trowa sent the Heavyarms to Quatre Raberba Winner for destruction but reclaimed it upon discovering the Barton Foundation’s revival of Operation Meteor. In a climactic battle in Brussels, Trowa used non-lethal rounds to disable many Serpents, eventually running out of ammo due to the intense opposition. Following this, he and the other Gundam pilots self-detonated their suits, ending the era of the Gundams.

Wish it didn't use those stickers for the light blue lines on the shoulders and skirt.

DeleteReally hoping I can get this for a reasonable price i.e. under a $100 USD.
ReplyDeleteIf you're in America it's available on the P-Bandai USA site. At about the same price before shipping that I originally pre-ordered it from Nippon-Yasan at. After shipping, it's way cheaper than Nippon-Yasan was with shipping.
