Fans of After War Gundam X will soon have another chance to add one of the franchise's most beloved entries to their collection. To celebrate the anime's 30th anniversary, Bandai Namco Filmworks has announced an encore pressing of the After War Gundam X Blu-ray Memorial Box (Limited Quantity Production).
Originally released in 2018, this premium Blu-ray set is making a return with the same specifications and bonus content, giving longtime fans and newcomers another opportunity to experience Garrod Ran and Tiffa Adill's journey in stunning HD remaster quality.
Scheduled for release on March 26, 2027, the Blu-ray Memorial Box includes all 39 episodes of the 1996 television series along with an extensive lineup of collector extras.
Among the set's biggest highlights is the 64-page manga If I'm Together With You, a "NEXT PROLOGUE" story supervised by Shinji Takamatsu, written by the late Hiroyuki Kawasaki, and illustrated by Koichi Tokita. The inclusion carries added significance for fans following Kawasaki's passing earlier this year, making this encore release even more meaningful.
The set also includes a 36-page video jacket art book, a 66-page special booklet, newly recorded audio commentaries featuring cast and staff members, archival commentaries, non-credit opening and ending sequences, promotional videos, and a collection of game movies featuring Mobile Suits from various SD Gundam G Generation and Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme Vs. titles.
Collectors can also look forward to premium packaging featuring original artwork by Junya Ishigaki and archival illustrations by Seihou Nishimura, alongside newly illustrated inner jackets by Akira Takahashi, Seiichi Nakatani, and Masanori Shinohara.
