The Hizack Custom's armor is reinforced with Gundarium Alloy, which provides better protection against opposing fire. This fortification, combined with thicker armor and internalization of previously susceptible power connections, dramatically improves battlefield survivability. In addition, a new backpack and thrusters have been added to improve mobility, providing a minor but obvious performance improvement over the predecessor.
The Hizack Custom was not mass-produced; only a few units were built for use in special operations and as sniper units by the Titans during the Gryps Conflict. Its legacy extended beyond the Titans, as Haman Karn's Neo Zeon movement used the mobile suit during the First Neo Zeon War. Despite being considered outdated by U.C. 0096, during the events of Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn, the Hizack Custom remained in use by both The Sleeves and the Republic of Zeon, a testament to its enduring capabilities.
