Never before have I complained about a kit being p-bandai. Usually I'm just happy to see the kit get made, but this is going too far. This Gouf is nowhere near as obscure as the Gyan Krieger or Act Zaku, not to mention the original kit from the '90s was a regular release. This hobby just keeps getting more and more frustrating. I'll still buy it though...It looks really cool...
All three Blue Destinys, which are more or less the exact same mold in different colours released consecutively: mass retail. An MS that doesn't have a modern HG: P-Bandai. Bandai Logic!!
Why couldn't they slot the Gouf Flight in after the Galbaldy? Do they have something else planned after him? The Woundwort and Byarlant BETTER NOT be P-Bandai!!
Disappointed this is a P-Bandai too, though I can understand Bandai's marketing on it. Honestly wish the efreet nacht wasn't so pricey either so I will probably pick up the Schneid and the old Gouf Flight hg instead...I blew a lot of cash on kits already this year and a good chunk if it was on pre-orders. Some seem worth it though.
ARE YOU KIDDING ME?
ReplyDeletecalled it. oh well.
ReplyDeleteMore room for regular releases then...
ReplyDeleteYup, they really don't want our money.
ReplyDeleteWhat makes it worse is how they brag about the new molds.

ReplyDeleteI saw it coming ...
ReplyDeleteWelp. I give up.
ReplyDeleteThis is a proper case of them not wanting our money.
ReplyDeleteThe 90's kit is still really decent that just requires some effort to look good.
This release only takes that effort away with a bit better articulation. Not worth it imo.
Guess I'll wait for the bootleg.
ReplyDeleteLooks neat, good P Bandai material
ReplyDeleteIt just seems like a Gouf Custom with new parts. Maybe why it's P-Bandai? I can't see the articulation being up to current standards.

At least P-Bandai HGs are fairly affordable on eBay.
ReplyDelete£20-£40 on average for a single MS kit.
This is the first P-Bandai to really upset me. This should be a normal release, but now I have to spend extra for it cause I still want it.
