On September 10th of 2015, Tochigi and Ibaraki Prefectures were hit by heavy rains and flood due to the Tropical Storm Etau. The flood from the Kinu River sweeps away buildings nearby and caused landslide that damaged about 6,900 houses and affected 22,000 residents.
The owner also stated the his intention was to make the affected people feel better if they they are in the area.

To lighten up and bring some hope to the victims, a Mobile Suit Gundam-themed bar, 0079, in the nearby but safe city of Utsonomiya opened its doors to all the victims. The owner tweeted that for that day, any customers that was affected by Etau will get a free drinks:
"those affected by the disaster, those who can't go home, those who want to nap, those who weren't affected but are feeling down... sorry that this is the least we can do."
