Gundam Creator Tomino to Partner with Legacy Effects to Make Film

On January 21, 2014, Yoshiyuki Tomino will be holding a press conference to officially announce his first project in the collaboration between his Ookaze no Okorusama company and Hollywood special effeccts studio "Legacy Effects".

The collaboration will be concentrating on...
“movies based on Japanese manga and animation from Hollywood to the world.”

Legacy Effects is the new name of Stan Winston Studio, the company formed by the legendary special-effects supervisor Stan Winston (Terminator, Jurassic Park, Aliens franchises) - animenewsnetwork.com

The company is also known in making the effects from Avatar, The Avengers, Iron Man 3, Pacific Rim and The Hunger Games.

In Addition to that, Kazunori Ueno (Bandai President) confirmed in 2013 that the "anticipated" latest project of Tomino will be announced "sometime between 2014 ~ 2015"

Tomino has been drafting a robot project codenamed "G-Reko," and Kadokawa's Gundam Ace magazine reported in 2012 that "G-Reko" would be "entering full-fledged production."
