As part of the ongoing celebration of Mobile Suit Gundam Wing’s 30th anniversary, Bandai Namco Filmworks has unveiled new setting materials from the upcoming commemorative project “Mobile Suit Gundam Wing -Operation 30th-.” These materials will be featured in the 30th Anniversary Official Book, giving fans an exciting glimpse into the future of the beloved series.
The latest reveal showcases the five iconic Gundams from Endless Waltz—Wing Zero, Deathscythe Hell, Heavyarms, Sandrock, and Altron—each cloaked in tattered garments that evoke a mysterious, almost guerrilla-like aesthetic. While story details remain "cloaked", these designs suggest a thematic shift toward stealth, survival, or even post-conflict reflection, marking a fresh new direction for Operation 30th.
In addition, the long-awaited cover for PART I of the 30th Anniversary Official Book has finally been unveiled, proudly featuring the project's key visual. With this, all three covers—PART I, PART II, and PART III—are now complete, forming a cohesive tribute to the 30-year legacy of Gundam Wing.
