Exciting news for Gunpla enthusiasts and model-making fans:
The Bandai Hobby Center Plamo Design Industrial Institute (BHCPDII) is set to open on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, in Shizuoka City, Japan — the plastic model capital of the world! Housed within Bandai Spirits’ latest state-of-the-art factory, this new museum delivers an immersive, hands-on journey into the world of plastic model design and manufacturing.

Another amazing way to celebrate GunPla's 45th anniversary!

Discover the Future of Plamo at the BHCPDII Museum

Visitors become plastic model designers themselves, engaging in interactive exhibits where they can choose model shapes and colors, design packaging, and witness real-time molding demonstrations. As a keepsake, guests take home their own custom-designed package — a tangible piece of the experience.

A Next-Generation Factory for the World of Gunpla

Built around the concept of an “attractive factory,” it blends cutting-edge automation and eco-friendly technology with a mission to inspire pride among its designers and spread the joy of Gunpla from Shizuoka to the world.
