HG 1/144 Genoace O-Custom Finally Joins the Gunpla Lineup After 13 Years!

Bandai Spirits has officially announced the long-awaited release of the HG 1/144 Genoace O-Custom from Mobile Suit Gundam AGE! This upgraded variant of the Genoace II, piloted by veteran Diva mobile suit pilot Obright Lorain, makes its long-overdue debut in the HG series—with all-new parts and impressive detailing faithful to its anime appearance.

The HG Genoace O-Custom faithfully recreates the mobile suit’s distinctive look with a range of newly molded components. The head, shoulder armor, backpack, and DODS Rifle—all essential to the unit’s unique silhouette—have been specially designed for this release.

Highlights include:
  • Clear parts for the dual side sensors mounted on the head
  • Color-separated plastic for the backpack and shoulders
  • Newly sculpted left hand part for enhanced poseability
  • A loadout featuring the DODS Rifle, beam saber, and shield
This marks the first official HG release of the Genoace O-Custom, and fans of Gundam AGE or Obright Lorain can now finally complete their collection with this iconic late-generation Earth Federation Forces mobile suit.

Deployed in the A.G. 160s aboard the battleship Diva, the RGE-B893CO Genoace O-Custom is a modernized version of Obright Lorain’s Genoace II. Named after its pilot, the "O-Custom" incorporated cutting-edge tech that pushed its performance close to that of the newer RGE-G2100 Clanche.

Compared to the standard Genoace II, the O-Custom features:
  • A redesigned head unit with enhanced main and sub-sensors
  • New backpack and shoulder units
  • A refined DODS Rifle model

  1. Who asked for this? Of all the things Bandai could devote resources to, this was never one of them.

  2. Broken, jaded record here; They STILL won't release the MG AGE 3 FX/Normal.
