MG 1/100 Gundam Barbatos Lupus
Release Date: November 2025
Price: 7,150 Yen

Finally unveiled at the 63rd Shizuoka Hobby Show, the Gundam Barbatos Lupus roars into the Master Grade GunPla lineup—marking the latest entry in the expanding series of Gundam Frame kits from Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans!

NOTE: An expansion set for the kit is also planned
Basing on the silhouette displayed at the event - it looks like we're getting the Valkyrja Buster Sword as an addon kit! More details will be unveiled soon.

Piloted by Mikazuki Augus in the second season of the series, the ASW-G-08 Gundam Barbatos Lupus emerges from a full overhaul at Teiwaz’s Saisei MS Workshop. Rebuilt for high-speed close-quarters combat, the Lupus incorporates enhanced mobility, lengthened limbs, and updated boosters, all tailored precisely to Mikazuki's fighting instincts through the Alaya-Vijnana System.

With its powerful melee weapons, forearm-mounted firearms, and curved armor plating designed to deflect incoming attacks, the Lupus isn’t just a successor—it’s a reborn monster built for the frontlines. MG-scale engineering brings out the beast’s brutal elegance in exquisite detail, from its signature wolf-like silhouette to its high-mobility limbs and aggressive frame articulation.

  2. I just finally bought mg barbatos after vidar announced and really feel like i was betrayed.

They should do some other different kits like 1/100 Kshatriya already.

    1. The lupus is retail as stated here, the Rex would need a nee backpack part to the frame as the subarms are moved, the arms would be completely new due to lenght and the subarms in them, the feet would be new due to the pile bunkers, etc. As dtated by every person all of these woyld be their own kit as eaxh frame has unique modifications.

    2. I know, I meant that I wouldn't be surprised if the Rex came out as P-Bandai... ;-)

  4. Unlike what the comments here of people who clearly do not see where the earnings are coming from, the Lupus being announced before Vidar shows that they are setting things up for the 10th anniversary and Urdr's anime later on. It makes sense with how well the kits have sold here is to celebrate the MG line of OBO kits is back on the menu.

  6. Barbatos again.... so many unique gundams don't have MG yet they keep releasing the same stuff. and of course RG and P-Bandai are also clogging the schedule. MG is dead.
