In celebration of the GWX project's 30th anniversary and the latest chapter of the G Gundam side stories, a newly designed God Gundam "God Gundam 2nd" was unveiled on the official Gundam 45th X account on February 7. This updated design makes its debut in Mobile Fighter G Gundam Gaiden: The East is Burning Red Part 3.
This mobile suit was developed for the finals of the 13th Gundam Fight, incorporating a newly acquired Core Lander brought by Domon. Its wings can detach and operate as independent weapons.
