A breathtaking new illustration of Gundam Aerial has been revealed on October 2nd, to mark two major milestones—the second anniversary of Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury and the 45th anniversary of the Gundam franchise.
In this stunning visual, Gundam Aerial is depicted against a striking night sky with a half moon hanging above. As more illustrations are set to be released in the coming months, the moon in each image will gradually become more full.
The commemorative artwork showcases Gundam Aerial in its Permet Score 6 state, as seen in Episode 9 of the anime.
The Mobile Suit Gundam franchise has become a beloved cornerstone of mecha anime since its debut in 1979, and The Witch from Mercury continues that tradition with its fresh take on the genre.
