Red Lotus, a third-party kit manufacturer has announced the release of a 1/100 scale model of the Proud Defender, a support craft designed by Kira Yamato for the Strike Freedom Gundam Type II. This kit allows modelers to convert their 1/100 Strike Freedom Gundam model into the Mighty Strike Freedom Gundam! 

This kit also comes with a pair of Futsunomitama swords that can be docked behind the Proud Defender when not in use. 

The gold parts on its wings are provided with chrome plate for luxurious effect.

The Proud Defender made its debut in the Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM film.

Originally intended to function as an unmanned unit, the Proud Defender can be swiftly adapted with manual controls, allowing for piloted use from an improvised cockpit. However, due to the cockpit's lack of combat certification, the pilot must vacate the craft before entering combat situations.
