MOHEZAOWU, a 3rd party company has unveiled a new release: the 1/100 Proud Defender expansion kit, designed to be fully compatible with Bandai's MGEX 1/100 Strike Freedom Gundam, MG 1/100 Strike Freedom Gundam, and MG 1/100 Freedom Gundam Ver. 2.0.

This expansion kit features exceptional design elements, including advanced articulation and innovative gimmicks. Additionally, it includes not just one but two Futsunomitama blades, enhancing its versatility.

Proud Defender

The Proud Defender is a support craft conceptualized by Kira Yamato in collaboration with Albert Heinlein and the Compass Design Bureau. Initially intended to integrate with the STTS-909 Rising Freedom Gundam, it was designed to augment the Gundam's offensive and defensive capabilities. However, due to unforeseen development delays and the eventual destruction of the Rising Freedom, the Proud Defender was re-engineered for compatibility with the ZGMF/A-262B Strike Freedom Gundam Type II. This adaptation involved replacing its Super DRAGOON wings, transforming it into the ZGMF/A-262PD-P Mighty Strike Freedom Gundam.

Originally designed as an unmanned unit, the Proud Defender can be rapidly outfitted with manual control systems, allowing for piloted operation via an improvised cockpit. However, this cockpit is not rated for combat, requiring the pilot to exit the craft during engagements.
