INITIAL RELEASE
Release Date: October 2024
Price: 6,600 Yen
The Gundam F90 A to Z project continues with the introduction of the F90III-Y Cluster Gundam in the Premium Bandai Master Grade GunPla collection. This Gundam initially appeared in the Mobile Suit Gundam Silhouette Formula 91 manga series set in UC 0123.
It accurately reproduces various mechanisms, such as docking with the Core Fighter F90â…¢ and equipping mission packs.
The F90III was officially announced by SNRI's development department in the Universal Century military magazine MS Monthly Journal's special edition winter issue on UC 0122.12.05. It was also disclosed that the prototype Formula 91 Gundam was being developed concurrently. After its completion at SNRI's Frontier I facility, the F90III first saw combat in the hands of Earth Federation pilot Lyle Wolf against the Crossbone Vanguard's Death Guns Squad mercenary unit in March UC 0123.
Features
Core Fighter F90â…¢ Y (Youngstar) Type
The new Gundam F90, bearing the name "Youngstar," is recreated with new designs.
Core Fighter F90â…¢/Core Booster F90â…¢
- The Core Fighter F90â…¢ features landing gear that can be equipped interchangeably with the Core Booster F90â…¢, along with an opening and closing canopy.
- By retracting the tail fins and attaching the backpack, the Core Booster F90â…¢ can be recreated.
- The nose and backpack can be folded and connected to the main body.
- The cockpit hatch of the Cluster Gundam opens to reveal the Core Fighter F90â…¢.
A new beam rifle is included, with a movable scope and foregrip.
Mega Beam Bazooka
- Two Mega Beam Bazookas are included, which significantly influenced the later Earth Federation Forces equipment.
- They can be mounted on the hardpoints of the mobile suit's rear and attached to the side hardpoints on the waist with a special joint to recreate the energy convergence shooting state.
- The package includes beam saber grips with a design different from the Gundam F90.
- The beam shield is deployed with clear parts and can be handheld by extending the grip.
- The generator can be moved to recreate the storage state.
- By replacing the forearm, shin hardpoints, and backpack with the included Gundam F90 backpack, various mission packs revealed in the "A to Z PROJECT" can be equipped. (Note: Some mission packs may not be compatible.)
Does this mean that the last three Mission Packs for the F90 series will be appearing soon?
ReplyDeleteThis was my favorite version of the F90. Really hope we also see other silhoutte formula stuff like the G-cannon Magna or Hardygun. So far we've got this and the Vignah Zirah from that line
ReplyDeleteSo is "F90III" pronounced like "F93"?
