The 30th anniversary celebration of G Gundam is in full swing with exciting projects, including the commercialization of the "METAL BUILD God Gundam." In a recent survey, fans were asked which mobile fighter they'd like to see transformed into a METAL BUILD figure. The results are in, and "Devil Colony" emerged as the top choice!

Survey Results:
  • Devil Colony: 40.6%
  • Nether Gundam: 24.7%
  • Mandala Gundam: 24.0%
  • Ashura Gundam: 10.7%
(2,119 responses)

The Devil Gundam, known for its multiple evolutions, reached a massive scale as the Devil Colony by absorbing Rain Mikamura as a biological unit. This colossal form attempted to consume the Earth itself, making its recreation in METAL BUILD a monumental task. The metal framework required to support its enormous wings, along with a detailed depiction of the silver Rain Mikamura, would be truly impressive.

In second place, the Nether Gundam received just under 25% of the votes. Its standout feature is the large windmill on its chest, which can transform into a flying form by replacing its lower body. Fans are eager to see how this iconic windmill would be realized in METAL BUILD, considering past figures featured a propeller that rotated via a knob on its back.

Mandala Gundam took third place with 24% of the votes. This mobile fighter is notable for its bell-shaped lower body, red rosary-like torso, and two arms. The most challenging aspect of its design is the transformation, where the upper body emerges from the bell-shaped base.

Ashura Gundam came in fourth, garnering just under 11% of the votes. Its unique form with six arms and two tails poses a significant challenge for METAL BUILD, especially in replicating its special move, "Chozetsu Guren," which involves splitting into three units and rotating at high speed.

To see incredible "METAL BUILD" figures up close, visit the "METAL BUILD FESTIVAL 2024 WITH CLUB TAMASHII MEMBERS" at TAMASHII NATIONS STORE TOKYO in Akihabara. The exhibition features past items, prototypes, and insights into the product development process. Additionally, a promotional video titled "How METAL BUILD is Made" was also released, showcasing the meticulous craftsmanship behind these high quality figures.

This year also marks the 30th anniversary of "G Gundam's" broadcast. Don't miss the continually updated new story text, "Mobile Fighter G Gundam Gaiden: Tenchi Tengaku," written by General Director Yasuhiro Imagawa, available on the G Gundam official website.
