In the complex realm of custom Gundam model building, originality and imagination are essential components of quality. Modeler GundamerPatX, who is well-known for his own style, has once again expanded the realm of customization with his most recent creation, the MSM-03 [ADV] Gogg [Advanced] - Unit 04.

This massive undertaking began with a fortuitous error in GundamerPatX's Zeon collection's numbering. Determined not to repaint existing models and in need of an eighth unit when only seven were planned, GundamerPatX focused on an often-overlooked kit: the Gogg. It was the ideal chance to add some individuality to a simple design, and it required the greatest amount of work he had ever put into a custom construction.

MG Gogg, the focal point of this custom, was created via a lengthy process of kitbashing, which entailed combining pieces from other models, such as PG Strike Gundam, MG Sazabi, Judge Fighter, HGUC Full Armor Unicorn, and Kotobukiya MSG Giant Hands.

The conversion of PG Strike Gundam's legs into strong arms for the Gogg is one of the most noticeable changes. This required a careful re-engineering of the Gogg's internal structure to support the extra weight, in addition to redefining its looks. One standout element, the massive arms, prompted multiple other changes to bring the entire design into harmony.

The project demonstrates the technological ability of GundamerPatX in model customization. It was a difficult task to integrate the legs of the MG Sazabi with the frame of the MG Gogg; it involved precise adjustments, part re-engineering, and strategic super-gluing. The details and texture of the model were improved with the addition of bespoke panel lines and scratch-built pieces.

Plaplate (plastic plate) materials were widely utilized for detailing, along with scribing methods that gave the model's surface fine lines and details. The Gogg's distinctive color scheme was added via custom paint jobs after the entire model was airbrushed, a method that yields a polished, seamless finish.

The outcome is evidence of GundamerPatX's proficiency and commitment to the art. The MSM-03 [ADV] Gogg [Advanced] - Unit 04 is a work of art that embodies the modeler's enthusiasm for turning common kits into remarkable works of art. The model stands out for its size and style, exuding a combination of elegance and force.

This build is an inspiration to the Gundam modeling community because of its meticulous craftsmanship and unique background. It shows that even the most ignored kits can be transformed into works of art with ability and imagination.
