Tamashii Nations has opened the pre-order page for the METAL BUILD GN Arms Type D option parts set via the official Premium Bandai site. This option set does not include the GN Armor unit, but rather parts to change the GN Arms Type E to Type D.

The twin rifle unit, missile container unit, sensor unit, connector parts, and auxiliary stand are among the components.

This release is part of the METAL BUILD's Mobile Suit Gundam 00 Revealed Chronicle project series, which is a "Mobile Suit Gundam 00" and METAL BUILD collaboration project. "Mobile Suit Gundam 00" will be a story that uncovers the GN Drive's missing link relating to "Double Drive" technology, which was never told in the anime series. This project includes participation from Seiji Mizushima ("Mobile Suit Gundam 00" director), Yosuke Kuroda (series composition), Tomohiro Chiba (SF research), and other official animation staff.

All of the accessories in this package can be used with the METAL BUILD Gundam Dynames, which is sold separately, to create an entirely new designed equipment version of Gundam Dynames.

In preparation for the impending decisive conflicts against the UN Forces, the Celestial Being deployed the GN Arms, of which the GN Arms Type E is for the GN-001 Gundam Exia and the GN Arms Type-D is for Dynames. Each GN Arms can dock with their Gundam counterpart to form the GN Armor, with the GN Armor Type-D consisting of GN Arms Type-D combined with Dynames. The GN Armor, as the name implies, provides the Dynames with greater mobility, offensive and defensive capabilities, displaying the Gundam's full power.

The GN Armor Type-D boosts the Dynames' long-range shooting capabilities with the GN Twin Rifle and the Large-Size Missile Container, both designed for anti-fleet combat, and the support machine's Large-Size GN Cannons and Claws are also available for ranged bombardments and close combat, respectively. Furthermore, when the docked Dynames activates the Trans-Am System, the GN Armor Type-D can deploy a GN Field for improved defensive capabilities, and the machine's performance can be augmented for a brief period of time.
