Pla-gun, a skilled modeler, has finished an astounding project titled "Advanced Barbatos," demonstrating a high degree of workmanship and inventiveness in the realm of model building. This project entailed a considerable alteration of the MG 1/100 Gundam Barbatos, which included scratch-built parts, a bespoke paint job, and, notably, a custom panel line to improve its appearance. The Tornado Hobby resin v-fin was also an important part of this modification.

The unique panel line that was created for this kit gives Barbatos a more mechanical appearance, and of course, the beautifully painted action base really enhanced the final custom kit's overall appeal.

Pla-gun's effort is highlighted by the inclusion of the Tornado Hobby resin v-fin into the Gundam Barbatos. This particular option not only improves the model's visual attractiveness but also fits in with the modeler's overall aesthetic vision. As a result, Gundam Barbatos retains its original essence while having a distinct, more individualized appearance.

One of the most noticeable aspects of the "Advanced Barbatos" is its distinct panel line. This smart addition gives the model a more detailed, mechanical aspect, demonstrating Pla-gun's attention to detail and modeling talent. Such additions aren't just for show; they give the model depth and character, distinguishing it from standard constructions.

Pla-gun's choice of armament for the Gundam Barbatos also adds a fresh dimension of danger to the model's design. The model's aggressive and dynamic posture is enhanced by the careful selection and integration of various weaponry.

Finally, the wonderfully painted action base is a standout feature. This base does more than just support the model; it also compliments and enhances the overall look of the "Advanced Barbatos." The colors selected and the technique used to paint the base show Pla-gun's holistic approach to model making, in which every component, no matter how minor, receives thorough attention.

In the end, Pla-gun's "Advanced Barbatos" is an outstanding example of model customization. The modeler has transformed the MG 1/100 Gundam Barbatos into a unique work that stands out in the world of model building by incorporating a Tornado Hobby resin head, constructing a unique panel line, and completing a bespoke paint job. This project exemplifies Pla-gun's passion to the craft as well as his natural ability to transform a classic model into something really unique.

GUNDAM BARBATOS

Piloted by Mikazuki Augus, the ASW-G-08 Gundam Barbatos serves as the primary mobile suit in the first season of the anime series Mobile Suit Gundam IRON-BLOODED ORPHANS.

Approximately 300 years ago, during the Calamity War, 72 "Gundam" frames were made and utilized, including the ASW-G-08 Gundam Barbatos. Chryse Guard Security utilized it as a power reactor after it was retrieved. This was primarily done since, when it was discovered, Barbatos' cockpit was missing. That being said, its Ahab Reactors were still operational. It had a new cockpit installed before the 3rd Group redeployed it, which was comparable to the one used by the CGS mobile personnel. Over the years following the Calamity War, the Barbatos' armor and fighting capability have deteriorated due to poor upkeep.

WORDS FROM THE MODELER:
This kit gave me an idea that even Barbatos can hold any type of weapons.
