Gundam Zagan is a mobile Gundam Frame suit piloted by Arzona Issue, one of the original Seven Stars during the Calamity War. Gundam Zagan first appeared in the mobile game Mobile Suit Gundam IRON-BLOODED ORPHANS Urdr-Hunt.
The mobile suit was designed by mechanical designer Kanetake Ebikawa.
After the Calamity war, Gundam Zagan was strictly run by the Issue family for generations, only coming into focus in recent years. During the conflict over the next head of the Issue family, it was piloted by Londo Bron, who previously served as Carta Issue's elite guard.
Its name is derived from the 61st of the 72 demons of Ars Goetia, Zagan A.K.A. Zagam, who is a great king and president of Hell, commanding more than thirty-three legions of demons. One of his powers is to turn fool into a wise, and turn blood into oil. Another one of his unique powers is to convert metals into coins. Zagan is depicted as a bull with griffin wings, which after a while turns into a man.
