Bandai Spirits has announced that the EG 1/144 RX-78-2 Gundam will be added to their [ECOPLA] "Recirculation Color" version kit starting August 19th at the Gundam Base stores in Japan.
The kit is molded from recycled plastic direct from Bandai Hobby Center, it is also provided with neon blue colored plastic to highlight some of its parts.
A sheet of decal sticker is also included with the kit to add a touch of detail to the finished model.

Additionally, it was announced that the kit will be available at the SUMMER SONIC 2023 event, an urban rock festival held in Chiba (in 2000) and Osaka for two days, Saturdays and Sundays, from early to mid-August every year.
Various limited editions from GunPla and other brands will be sold at the event, including the pre-sale of the 1:144 entry-grade Gundam RX-78-2 [ECOPLA] “Recirculation Color/Neon Blue”. The event will be held at Makuhari Messe (2-1 Nakase, Mihama-ku, Chiba-shi, Chiba) - entry requires a SUMMER SONIC 2023 ticket.
