The OVA will be distributed worldwide, and will contain 6 episodes of approximately 30 minutes per episode.
It has been decided that a new original video animation (OVA) will use the 3D production tool Unreal Engine 5 and be produced jointly by Bandai Namco Film Works and SAFEHOUSE. The lead role is played by Australian actress Celia Massingham (DC's Legends of Tomorrow).
The story is set on the European front during the "One Year War", which was also depicted in the first Gundam series Mobile Suit Gundam 0079.
The screenplay is written by Gavin Hignight (Tekken: Bloodline, Transformers Cyberverse, videogame Marvel's Spider-Man) and directed by Erasmus Brosdau (animation Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness, "Ryse: Son of Rome", series "Crisis").
Additionally, Bandai Namco Film Works' (SUNRISE) Naohiro Ogata and writer Gavin Hignight, will serve as executive producers of the new anticipated project.
The production team has also released a first look at the main character of the story, Iria Solari, Zaku II and the Gundam unit rendered in Unreal Engine 5.

The official website for the upcoming title was also launched to public to provide updates and mechanic files for the project. The site also released the first key visual poster for the title featuring Iria Solari, the main character of the series, with the Gundam unit in the background.

I don't like the gundams head it's round like the ez 8 just not for me

ReplyDeleteThe legs and arms remind me of Atlas though.
I feel that Zaku are much more handsome than Gundam
ReplyDeletePorportion is way off and too many rounded corners. Skirt armors are too small as GP01 Gundam with thighs wider than hip with the armors, thus throwing the proportion off.
