TV Tokyo's midnight live action drama Mass Produced Riko - Assembling the Life of a Plastic Model Girl will return in June to celebrate its first anniversary with a new title, and for even more exciting fun with new Plamo girls and the return of series star and Nogizaka46 Idol, Yuuki Yoda as Riko.
The follow-up series is titled "Mass-Produced Riko: Another Plamo Girl's Life Assembly Record". It will be broadcast every Thursday from June 30 at 00:30 JST on the same TV Tokyo spot.
The actors who appeared in the previous title will appear in completely different roles with the same name, and this time, in collaboration with the BANDAI SPIRITS production, different plastic models that actually exist in each story will appear one after the other.
SYNOPSIS
Riko is the president of the start-up company "Dream Crazy" (DreCra) which she and her friend launched during their college days. Together with DreCra, she aspires to become a unicorn company through the startup support project “Dog Run”, where young startups work hard.
Meanwhile, Riko is surprised by the word "mass production" uttered by her rival company. It is a coming-of-age story about young people who thought they were different from their peers, who struggled with the "originality of life" and were later reassembled into adults using a plastic model.
The plastic model featured in the first episode which marks the beginning of the new story is the "HGUC 1/144 Unicorn Gundam" from Mobile Suit Gundam UC.
