Gundam Battle Operation 2 Will Officially Arrive in Steam on May 30th

Bandai Namco Entertainment and the official Gundam Battle Operation 2 (GBO2) Twitter has officially announced that the free-to-play online Gundam battle game is now available for pre-download via Steam and will have an official launch of May 30th at 10PM PST!

This is a free team battle action game based on Universal Century's Mobile Suit Gundam series.

Whether on land or in space, crush your enemies with your favorite mobile suit or roam the battlefield as infantry capturing key objectives.

■Maximum of 6 vs. 6 online battles 

Join players from all over the world in 6v6 online team battles on realistic battlefields!

■Infantry Combat 

The Mobile Suits aren't the only heroes on the battlefield! Take on the role of pilots who can lay bombs on enemy bases or call in support fire to help the cause!

■ Acquire and customize mobile suits

Purchase new mobile suits with the DP you earn in games or with tokens you buy from the weekly supply drops.

Once acquired, you can further develop your mobile suits by customizing certain parts and weapons, or unlocking other important abilities in the hangar

■Base camp

An online lobby where you can connect with players from all over the world!

As a pilot, you can strengthen your MS in the base camp and prepare for various battles. Plus, you can freely interact with various war buddies along the way!

Gundam Battle Operation 2 is a popular free online 3rd-person shooting Gundam game that was first released on PlayStation 4 in 2018 and PlayStation 5 in 2021. The game was published by BNE Entertainment, Namco Bandai Games America Inc.

The game has also generated demand around the world, that resulted a PC release via Steam. Before the official launch, beta tests were launched to test PC stability and connection while gaming.
