Gundam NEXT Future TOKYO Base to Exhibit a 1/1 Scale Gundam Aerial Head

The Gundam NEXT Future project continues its campaign with many more amazing exhibition across Japan to commemorate the upcoming launch of the latest TV anime, Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury on October 1st, 2022.


This time, the event taking place in TOKYO Base at Shinjuku Sumitomo Building Triangle Square (2-6-1 Nishi-Shinjuku, Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo) will be featuring the never-before-seen life-sized version of the Gundam Aerial that is completely made of GunPla runners.

The event will launch from September 30th, 2022 and will end on October 2nd, 2022. This, with a pre-opening date of September 29th for those who pre-downloaded the Gundam Navi app on their devices.

The exhibit will also expand the GunPla Recycling Project by Bandai Hobby by inspiring builders to recycle their used runners at the event!

In addition to the 1/1 scale Gundam Aerial head, an installation of large polycaps featuring the concept of using GunPla runners will be exhibited at the event.


The event will also feature the ROAD TO GUNPLA BATTLE project once again, to promote their latest technology to realize a "Real GunPla Battle" by scanning your own GunPla at the venue. Also, participants of the scanning event will be given a URL to showcase a video of their GunPla in action through all social networking services.


Moreover, the event will be giving away an exclusive loot bag at the venue's exit that contain items related to the Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury. This include; an exclusive GunPla platform molded with the Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury logo, and an arcade card game “Mobile Suit Gundam Arsenal Base” Aerial Gundam promotion card.
