Gundam to Set a Pavilion at the World Expo 2025 Osaka

Bandai Namco Holdings announces that it plans to hold a very special Gundam Pavilion at the 2025 World Expo that is set to happen in Osaka, Japan, from April 13th to October 25th of 2025.

The pavilion will be a gallery of Gundam project collaborations and future plans while celebrating the franchise's 45th anniversary. 

While it plans for the event's success, Bandai Namco also hinted the fans with four of its planned event themes that includes; a "Demonstration experiment for solving issues of the future society", a Realization of "co-creation" through people-to-people connections", a "Future possibilities presented by "Mobile Suit Gundam", and "Future experiences that link the real and virtual worlds" which sounded like their previously announced multi-million dollar Gundam Metaverse project.

A poster dedicated to the Gundam Pavilion was also revealed by Bandai Namco that also celebrate its future changes.


Pokemon and other popular Japanese franchises have also announced their participation in the said event. This event will be one of the biggest event in Japan and is expected to gather the most visitors from different countries since the recent pandemic is coming to an end.

  1. While I'm sure this will be a cool event and a fantastic display, I'm not sure the world of Gundam is the best inspiration for "solving issues of the future society" (think 'colony drop'). ^_^;;
