Premium Bandai teamed up with Kadokawa's Gundam Hobby Life to bring one of NAOKI's most memorable custom designs to the RE/100 GunPla lineup with the Gundam Lindwurm. First introduced in Gundam Hobby Life Vol. 19, the mobile suit quickly caught the attention of fans before later appearing in the Gundam Build Divers Genius Head Line side story.
Designed by renowned mechanical designer NAOKI, the Gundam Lindwurm began as a custom build before becoming part of Gundam's official lineup. For the RE/100 release, NAOKI supervised the overall design and created the original decal artwork.
The kit is based on the RE/100 Bawoo, while the head uses parts inspired by the Zeta Gundam. The result is a fresh take on the AMX-107 Bawoo that leans closer to the MSZ-006 Zeta Gundam, highlighting the connection between the two mobile suits. The redesign also improves articulation, mobility, and aerial performance in its Mobile Suit form.
The Gundam Lindwurm includes a Beam Rifle for long-range combat, a Shield for defense, and two external propellant tanks mounted on the backpack to extend its operating range.
One of the kit's biggest highlights is its transformation system, allowing it to separate into two independent units.
The Lindwurm Attacker combines the upper body, head, backpack, and weapons into a high-speed attack unit built for aggressive aerial combat.
The Lindwurm Nutter is formed from the lower body and functions as an autonomous combat drone. It can operate independently or support the Lindwurm Attacker during battle, giving the mobile suit an extra layer of tactical flexibility.

ReplyDeleteI like it. I am definitely going to get it. Doesn't the shield go on the rear of the Bawoo Attacker? It is weird that they didn't keep it that way for this one. Still, looks really good.
