The secret amazon.jp GunPla has finally been revealed, and it's not just a regular Gundam we know but a surprise new Gundam from a new Gundam SEED MSV manga series called "ECLIPSE".Â
The kit is a completely new mold for the series and is compatible with existing Striker and Wizard packs from the MG 1/100 Strike Gundam Ver. RMÂ and MG 1/100 Gunner Zaku Warrior series model kits. Oh! and it is able to transform between Mobile Suit and Mobile Armor mode for its main gimmick! More details will be added soon.

This Gundam SEED MSV project will be called Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Eclipse and will start serializing in July 2021!
Exciting news for this new Seed series as I loved the mechanics on, pretty much, all of the suits. For this on I have mixed feelings looking at it, but it definetely packs great parts detailing and sharp design. Lastly don't forget the backpack interoperability and of course the P-Bandai exclusive for this suit.

The MG is actually also compatible with the Impulse Gundam's Silhouette packs, as you can see one of the examples using the Force Silhouette.

Don't get me wrong, it looks decent, but wow, that is fast AF of it getting an MG.

ReplyDileuat some aspect this feels more like a 00 design than SEED, and if I should try to connect it to SEED elements somehow, this somehow looks like a reworked version of Aegis.
Price is OK for an MG, let's just hope it has good things stored inside.
It's not seed, it's throne meats penelope gundam. There may be a series for it, but it's not in seed, seed are more robust simple designs. It's an ugly thing and a dumb move by bandai.
ReplyDileuI like it. The aesthetic is very different than a lot of SEED Gundams. The transformation is very unique. I am curious if it will use either of the existing SEED frames. I hope they release some of the Striker packs and Silhouette packs separately. It looks like it is going to receive its own unique pack too.

ReplyDileuI feel like the head should have some more triangular elements in it given the rest of the suit. Like it needs an Astray head and it'd look perfect. As is I just keep feeling like something's slightly off.

ReplyDileusay what if during battle enemy chopped off one of his leg? & he transformed to fly away...that would be so weird with only half of the body during MA mode XD

ReplyDileuReminds me of the Kyrios at the end of OO; it transformed into flight mode with half of its limbs missing and it looked goofy
