Bandai Spirits adds Gundam Barbatos to the Master Grade model series lineup! The kit is also provided with extreme detailing and extended articulation inside and out. An entirely new mold for the framing has been provided for the kit that fits the "Master Grade" standard. Compare to its Full Mechanics version, the framing of this kit offers more part and color separation.
Its hydraulic pistons are also separated with chrome plated plastic to add more realistic detailing to the kit, and also to give a wider range articulation compare to its 1/100 scale kit counterparts.
[ACCESSORIES]
- Mace
- Long Sword
- Smoothbore Gun
[UPDATE: RELEASE DATE MOVED]
This is due to the high volume of regular retail model kits that will be released in November.

fingers crossed we see all the other Gundam Frames, and that the variants of Barbatos aren't P-Bandai (though probably certain forms will do)
ReplyDileuAll other Gundam Frames? It will,
Dileubut it's gonna be a long way. Not hope too much, it's MG, Gundam seed needs 10 years to complete all 5 gat-x frames, so is 00 that just added new Dynames.
As for Barbatos, the 6 forms maybe pbandai, but the Lupus and Rex hopefully not.
I think (or hope at least) 6th form will get a standard release MG, seeing as it has its own HG and FM models. the option parts for the other forms I could totally see as P-Bandai though. But I can only hope that they'll include those parts in the 6th form release... (seeing as if you had 4th and 6th form, you'd only need a handful of extra parts to make the others). But I really hope we'll get a Gusion Rebake (hopefully not bundled with Gusion...) cause I find the FM Gusion lacking. If i can get those, and an MG Graze I'll be happy... but I'd be ecstatic to get an MG Grimgerde and Kimaris Trooper so I can make a sweet diorama of the final battle between MacGillis and Gaelio. (I like to pretend season 2 never happened...)
DileuI see what you're trying to do with the gusion and graze lol
Dileu@Pathetic Cards, the Hi Resolution Barbatos 6th Form is P-Bandai.
DileuGUH-LOOOOOOOOOORIOUS!!
ReplyDileuyes YES YES!
ReplyDileuGlad they changed the handle on the mace
ReplyDileuLol funny enough, they changed it on a weapon where it doesn't really matter if it's tilted off to the side a bit, whereas on a sword, it does matter if it's tilted off to the side. Maybe it gives it a better grip on the mace though.
DileuYES!!!
ReplyDileuBut are they going to release the variants as P-Bandai? 😱
You are not funny. Stop using emojis.
DileuMan ... So many good kits for retail and pbandai releases this year. The only bad thing is the lack of money inside my wallet.
ReplyDileuPre-ordered. Hopefully it has the sword and Cannon. Regardless, I prefer the regular Barbatos over the Lupus and Lupus Rex (though I have the LR in Full Mechanic).
ReplyDileuNovember?! damn that's soon! I'll save up so I can get it on release and not have to wait for it to arrive on my country.
ReplyDileuSo when is the Ver Ka getting a release?
ReplyDileuFor what? This is glorious enough for MG.
DileuWhen the first prototype photos went up, some people didn't like the head and waist proportions. How does this compare now? I can't decide.
ReplyDileuis this the final product? i was hoping there's more color on the frame
ReplyDileuAbsolutely not the final product, most of the images you see are CG thus far. Shots of a painted kit and sample images of a straight build will come later.
DileuThat being said, more colour on the frame? What do you mean?
Now waiting MG Lupus Rex.
ReplyDileuGAZE UPON THE BEAST IN ALL HIS GUH-LORYYYYYYYYYYY
ReplyDileuGIVE ME MG VIDAR !!!
ReplyDileuI want a MG Graze and Barbatos Lupus please!
ReplyDileuMG GUSION REBAKE FULLCITY NEXT PLEASE....DO IT FOR AKIHIRO
ReplyDileu*siiiigh* so no cockpit for Barbatos huh? really?
ReplyDileuSeems true when we see the inner frame picture, could be the designer sacrificing the cockpit feature for more body articulation, but in the full armor picture where we can see through it a little bit theres some white block on the upper front chest below the neck, maybe the cockpit separated from the inner frame, just hope it haha
DileuThere's a cockpit, but in all IBO gundam frames the cockpit aren't integrated in the frame, as we see in original design, there's also no cockpit. So the cockpit is added with the armor.
DileuHonestly I don't mind either way. I'd happily take a cockpit-less Barbatos for greater articulation :D
Dileucalling it right now, the pistons at the chest will pop out when you move the arm upwards
ReplyDileuAm I the only one asking if there is an opening cockpit?
ReplyDileuGlad that MG Barbatos is coming. But What about Form 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, Lupus, and Lupus Rex? Are those going to be P-Bandai?
ReplyDileu@LaserTornado874221 Will you finally build a kit from your box fort after several years of box hoarding and wishlist spamming?
DileuThere is a youtuber

saying that the release of MG Barbatos will be delayed and the date will be Dec. 2019 in Asia and it will be release in 2020 in some other countries. can somebody please correct this info?
Woaaaaahohoho! That boxart is SICK!!
ReplyDileuThe boxart looks good. Does this mean we might be getting a Master Grade Graze???
ReplyDileuI sure hope so! What the 1/100 is lacking is decent articulation in the hips, plus elimination of polycaps would be good for joint longevity, since my NG 1/100 Grazes are loosening up by now.
DileuThis will be released in 21st December 2019! Cant't wait!
ReplyDileuI thought that too. But it's already hit shelves down here. AND IT'S AMAZING AAAAAAAAHHHH
