Premium Bandai has unveiled the Master Grade GunPla release of Philip Hughes' custom GM Dominance, as featured in Mobile Suit Gundam Side Story: The Blue Destiny Vol. 4 manga.
This exclusive kit shares the same mold as the MG GM Dominance from June 2018, now presented in a sleek black color scheme. It also features enhanced firepower with two gun turrets mounted on its back, making it a formidable addition to any collection.

The RGM-79DO GM Dominance is a mobile suit featured in Mobile Suit Gundam Side Story: The Blue Destiny manga.
Developed at Augusta-related facilities, the GM Dominance was a specialized mobile suit based on the late-production GM. It served as a data-gathering platform to enhance the combat capabilities of the Earth Federation Forces’ GM series. The data collected from its operations contributed to the development of advanced models like the RGM-79SP GM Sniper II and fine-tuning of rollout units such as the RGM-79G GM Command.
True to its name, "Dominance," this mobile suit boasted superior performance compared to earlier GM models. Its versatile design also shared features with other high-performance mobile suits of the era, such as the RGM-79SC GM Sniper Custom and the FA-78-1 Full Armor Gundam. As a limited-production unit, only a small number of GM Dominance mobile suits were manufactured during the One Year War.
Man, they really are milking that GM kit as much as they can. I am disappointed that I will be missing out on the Gatling guns, but I already have a Dominance. Oh well.

Yes, this is the same kit. Now that I see that it is just Gatling gun turrets, I am not as butthurt. I like the original Dominance's colors.

ReplyDeleteNo. The GM Dominance is based on the GM Sniper II and GM Sniper Custom. The BD1 would be based on the GM Ground Type.

Not that i'd be able to get it anyway as P-Bandai MGs are regularly £100+ on eBay.
