Gundam to Collaborate with 12 Pro Japanese Baseball Teams

To commemorate the 40th anniversary of Gundam, Bandai Spirits will be collaborating with 12 professional baseball teams in Japan to release various special colored HG 1/144 RX-78-2 Gundam.

Each RX-78-2 Gundam will be colored according to each baseball team's color and will be sold in different ways depending on the team's decision from April 2019.

  1. I was on the fence about these. I understand that this appeals almost specifically to the Japanese audience, in other words the primary gunpla audience, but now that I see there's a green one I think I'm sold. Also, I can't be the only one who looks at some of these and thinks of the customizing potential right?

      Heck; there's an RX-78-2 kit that comes with a spoon FFS.
