Premium Bandai announces the MS-06R-1A Zaku II in its striking Black Tri-Stars colors! Sharing molds with the RG 1/144 Johnny Ridden’s Zaku II, this release features a brand-new color scheme that faithfully represents the specifications of Gaia’s, Mash’s, and Ortega’s machines.

Key Features:
  • Black Tri-Stars Coloring & Design: Every detail of the Black Tri-Stars' Zaku II has been meticulously reproduced, including the elbow and leg fuel cartridges. The machine’s characteristic color is presented through a multi-toned molding process, accurately capturing the unique look of the Black Tri-Stars.
  • Customizable Head for Gaia, Ortega, or Mash: The kit includes parts that allow you to customize the head of the Zaku II to represent Gaia’s, Ortega’s, or Mash’s machines, offering more flexibility for fans of the trio.
  • Realistic Decals: The set includes newly designed decals with markings for each pilot: Gaia, Ortega, and Mash, enhancing the authenticity of your build.
  • Variety of Weapons: Arm your Zaku II with an array of iconic weapons such as the Giant Bazooka, Zaku Machine Gun, Zaku Bazooka, and Heat Hawk—all recreated with the Real Grade standard of detail.

  1. Want to cheat? Just wait for rg hm zaku decal set. They include matsunaga's and black tri star's emblem and mark, then paint it.

  2. Bandai isn't making model kit based on what the fans want. But, based on how many retooled. an that's making me slowly quit gunpla. I support the shows. but, looking forward into the future. I might only buy from third party sources.

  3. Just like is happening with the MGs. A bunch of P-Bandai recolors.

  4. The Black Tri-Stars used this Zaku exactly how many times in the Anime? Zero? Why does Bandai insist on making fifty million different versions of this Zaku?

  5. This is what I can agree to be a P-Bandai kit... a simple re-color

Kits I hate being released as P-Bandai:
    - MG Sandrock Custom EW
    - MG Altron
    - MG Heavy Arms Custom EW
    - HGBF Cathedral Gundam
    - HGBF Gundam X-Jumaoh
    - Extra parts from the Tekkadan Set (They could've done all the extra parts as a Tekkadan option set with a box as large as a regular kit w/o the 4 HG IBO kits included)
    - HGIBO Dainsleif Graze from the upcoming Arianrhod Set (I don't care about Iok's Graze, but the sword and shield for the Reginlaze Julia can easily be a part of an option set or just put those in with the new parts for the Dainsleif Graze on an Arianrhod option set)
    - Other kits that the GunPla Community wants but was let down by those kits being P-Bandai

    Reason:
The kits above can sell very well (at least from what I, or many of us can see) even as a standard release. I know there are more kits that don't deserve to be given the P-Bandai treatment but has been given such, but Bandai is still a company, a business... it needs to profit... Sad.

Types of kits that I think deserve a P-Bandai treatment:
    - Simple color swaps (Example: RE/100 Bawoo Mass Prod. Type)
    - Color swaps with a few new parts/new weapons (HG Gaelio's Schwalbe Graze)

I'm sorry for this long post. Some of you may agree and/or disagree with my thoughts about what kits deserve to be P-Bandai, but hey, the community is still strong, right?
