Fans in Japan will soon have another chance to experience one of the Universal Century's most memorable stories on the big screen. As Mobile Suit Gundam F91 celebrates its 35th anniversary in 2026, Mobile Suit Gundam F91 Complete Edition is set to screen in 4K at Gundam Theater in Fukuoka on July 18, 2026, giving fans a special way to mark the milestone.
Held regularly at TOHO Cinemas LaLaport Fukuoka, Gundam Theater celebrates classic Gundam titles with theatrical screenings throughout the year. This showing of Gundam F91 Complete Edition lets fans revisit the 1991 film with enhanced 4K presentation.
Adding even more excitement, attendees will receive a limited Gundam Theater memorial sticker while supplies last. The collection features 10 different designs, distributed at random, with artwork from fan favorite titles including Mobile Suit Gundam, Char's Counterattack, Gundam F91, Mobile Suit Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz Special Edition, Turn A Gundam, Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam, Mobile Suit Gundam 00 the Movie: A Wakening of the Trailblazer, Mobile Suit Gundam NT, Gundam Reconguista in G, and Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway.
The event also continues the NT-D (Newtype Discount) Campaign, allowing university students, high school students, elementary and junior high school students, and children aged three and up to watch the film for just 500 yen. The campaign aims to introduce classic Gundam stories to a new generation of fans through the theater experience.
Tickets will be available through the TOHO Cinemas LaLaport Fukuoka website and the theater box office. With Mobile Suit Gundam F91 celebrating 35 years, this special screening is a great opportunity for longtime fans to relive the film on the big screen while introducing one of the Universal Century's classic stories to a new generation.
