The knights of Zeon are charging into the spotlight once again as the HG 1/144 Gyan (Hakuji Equipment) from Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX prepares to make its arrival. Featuring its striking body colors, massive Hakuji weapon, and signature Gyan Shield, this latest release captures the fierce battlefield presence fans have been waiting to add to their collections.

This release will be available through a lottery sale system rather than first come, first served, making it one of the more anticipated upcoming kits for collectors and builders alike. Applications open from May 15, 2026 at 12:00 PM until May 27, 2026 at 3:00 PM, with winners scheduled to be announced on May 29, 2026.

The HG Gyan (Hakuji Equipment) faithfully recreates the mobile suit’s distinctive appearance using molded color parts, giving the kit a sharp and anime-accurate finish straight out of the box. Its articulation allows for a wide range of action poses inspired by scenes from the series, while the movable mono-eye adds extra personality and intensity to display options.

The included Gyan Shield features a missile hatch deployment gimmick, adding even more play value and detail to the build. Alongside the iconic Hakuji weapon, the kit also includes a dedicated support stand for stable posing and dramatic displays. The Hakuji itself is a massive composite weapon that combines a giant physical lance with additional thrusters mounted on its rear section, making the Gyan even more devastating in close combat.

A close combat mobile suit developed by the Principality of Zeon, the Gyan (Hakuji Equipment) played a notable role during the events of U.C. 0085. Xavier Olivette’s custom Gyan was deployed to protect Kycilia Zabi from an assassination attempt carried out by Deux Murasame and the MRX-010 Psycho Gundam, holding the line until Challia Bull’s MAN-03 Kikeroga arrived as reinforcements. The unit would later encounter Nyaan and escort her to Kycilia.

During the Yomagn'tho Blockade, Kycilia’s personal guard force, consisting of nine Gyans alongside Xavier’s custom unit, launched an assault against Gihren Zabi’s MA-08 Big Zam squadron. After successfully destroying the entire Big Zam force, the Gyans proceeded to wipe out the remaining nearby fleet forces under Gihren’s command.
