Bandai booth is also selling exclusive GunPla merchandise for the event. The kits that are being sold will only be available at the event while supplies lasts!
The newly announced kits from Shizuoka Hobby Show 2017 are also on display at the event, including; Premium Bandai MG 1/100 00 XN Raiser, Hi-Res Model Wing Gundam Zero Custom EW, GunPla model kits from Gundam Build Fighters GM's counterattack, and RG 1/144 Unicorn Gundam with their final box arts printed!

I know of someone who thought this was a big gunpla expo like Shizuoka. He even made a topic on a forum site expecting to talk about all the new announcements. He got 0 replies in like a week of it being up and ended up deleting it. Most gunpla expos are just excuses for them to sell exclusive kits.
