The RG 1/1 scale RX-78-2 Gundam in Diver City Tokyo Plaza [Gundam Front Tokyo] will end its exhibition on March 5, 2017.

The life size Gundam first appeared in Odaiba Seaside park in the summer of 2009 that called attention to nearly 4.15 million people on its first 52 days! The first appearance of the Real Grade 1/1 scale Gundam was also featured in GunPla Builders Beginning G's pilot episode.

Then the Gundam was transferred to the Shizuoka Hobby Show back in summer 2010, holding its beam saber in its right hand for the first time, and then it finally stood at Diver City Tokyo Plaza in 2012 up until now and will be celebrating its 5th year in February 2017.

In addition, Diver City Tokyo Plaza's 7th floor business for Gundam Front Tokyo merchandise will also be saying goodbye to fellow fans on April 5, 2017. The Gundam Front Tokyo will be replaced by The Gundam Base Tokyo.

Bandai will be holding a LAST SHOOTING campaign event before they finally close the business at GFT.

Real G Project will return to celebrate the GunPla's 40th anniversary in 2019 with more exciting surprises!
