RISE! concentrates on the 3 Gundam Anime releases and to celebrate the 35 years of the strong Gundam Business.
  1. Final Episode of Gundam Unicorn (Episode 7: Over the Rainbow) - May 2014
  2. Gundam Reconguista in G - Fall 2014
  3. Gundam the Origins I: The Blue Eyed Casval - Story of Char and Sayla will be revealed for the first time in the history of Gundam. The first of the four parts will be airing in 2015.
They will also be hosting an event that showcases a big collection of Gunpla and Gundam anime to celebrate the 35 years of their business.

We will be seeing more of these in early April 2014, and further announcements will be coming as we get closer to the 40th anniversary.

They've also announced the upcoming "Real G Next Project" - which will be an exciting event that goes toward the 40th anniversary in 2019. This project is about the second life sized Gundam statue that is rumored to be a Char's Zaku II.

Aoki of Sotsu spoke about his gratitude to all their fans and to their continued support to the franchise. He also introduced the exhibition that will be held this Summer 2014 that showcases the "ART OF GUNDAM". The main purpose of this event is to commemorate the 35 years of Gundam history and to look back and learn more about the franchise itself.

"It will display over 1000 valuable original key animations and source materials to allow the visitors to feel the passion of the creators involved in making the Gundam series." and also, an interactive theater will round the new works by Sunrise.

The event will be held at Tempozan, Osaka Bunkakan that will start on July 12, 2014 and ends on August 31, 2014.

And a year after that from July, 18, 2015 to September 27, 2015 , they will also exhibiting at Mori Arts Center Gallery in Roppongi Tokyo.

***MORE ANNOUNCEMENTS ABOUT THE EXHIBITION WILL BE REVEALED ON APRIL 17, 2014.

GunPla and other Gundam merchandise will also be available at the event as planed to introduce more people to the series.

Mr. Yoshiko Tomino stood up and spoke as the "special guess" - though he refused to be called as "special guess" he stated that he is "part" of the team not "special" because he said "I am not special, I am a regular member of the team". (like how humble is that?)

Mr. Yoshiyuki Tomino talks about Gundam Reconguista
He also talked about the project that he has been working on which is the G-Reko or now called the "Gundam Recongista in G" which the "G stands for Gundam but in primarily means "ground" as in standing on the ground" - Tomino said.

Tomino also explained that "the word Reconguista is a coined word based on the word "reconquista", but in Japan it had to be reconguista  because we need a G sound to sell well here."

Obviously, the fans of Reconguista will be different from the fans of Gundam Unicorn and Gundam The Origin. He wanted to create something that would reach the children of today.

A new portal site for the 35th anniversary of Sunrise's Mobile Suit Gundam series launched today. The first TV anime series Mobile Suit Gundam started airing in Japan on April 7, 1979. While not much information is revealed, the tagline on the site says, "Rise! The World is Moving." And a video screen shows "Coming Soon: March 20th, 2014 5PM, ON LIVE." It means a new announcement related to the Gundam series will be broadcasted online at 5:00 pm, March 20 (JST), 1:00 am, March 20 (PST). - Crunchyroll
